We draw up a plan with timelines and agree on feedback sessions with the employee. We hold the employee’s hand through the plan until all items are achieved and taken off the list.

That makes it important that all employees who carry legal responsibilities understand the impact their negligence may have on the business. Legally appointed personnel need to always be aware of risks to safety, health, hygiene, environment and business performance.

We provide a course on Legal Liability to all legally appointed personnel, so that they can understand the requirements of laws and regulations applicable to the industry in which they are employed. The purpose of the course is to empower each person and make them understand that when they walk past unsafe acts by others, they endorse the bad behaviour. They need to know that all legal appointments link to the highest legal appointment in the hierarchy and the responsibility is shared equally. The importance of each legal appointment in the organogram is made clear for everyone to understand how they are all linked.
